out the KWS Chart
In filling out
the KWS Chart, consider these five essential points:

Skim
the text and determine its main idea. List down all the critical points and
supporting details.

In
the first column, answer the question “What do you know about the text?” Write
down at least five answers under the K column.

In
the second column, answer the question “What do you want to know about the text?”
List down at least 5 to 10 responses under the W column.
·
In
the third column, write down specific parts of the texts that are related to
the items in columns K and W.
·
Read
all the items on each column to make sure that you have included all the
critical points in the text.
